Last night I experienced a revelation. Okay, so calling it a revelation is a slight exageration, but I truly didn't know just how good strawberries taste with pepper on them. Seriously. I learnt that, if I can add just the perfect amount of pepper, instead of being able to taste the pepper, the strawberries tastestronger, which is an absolute Godsend for home-grown strawberries that should taste delicious, but don't really taste of anything.
Today, I have enjoyed one of life's great pleasures. I live in a little-known seaside city, it's most remarkable feature being it's naval base. However, there is a small, man made water feature near the seafront, famed amongst the locals for the swan boats, duck boats, climbing trees, ice creams, crab fishing opportunities and most other good things you can find on a rather small public water feature. I have lived here for most of my life, so it is home to many fond memories, such as learning to walk. I went for a walk there today in the glorius sunshine, and, I must admit, I found myself reminisce.
Recently, a news paper advertised a house in the city I live in. It went on to say that, the house was beatiful, but basicly the whole rest of the town was not quite adequate. Having been born here, I feel that my home is worthy of alot higher praise than it was given. And so, I'm sorry to say, I have stopped reading that colum.
